Gabrielle "Gabi" McComb Lima started jiu-jitsu at eight in Manaus, Brazil — the heart of the Amazon — following her older sister Andrea onto the mat. She moved to the United States in 2016, earned her black belt in 2018, and went on to win IBJJF world titles in the gi and no-gi.
World champion in the gi (2021). World champion without it (2023). Multiple Pan-American titles. In 2025 she turned to professional MMA and is 5–0 with five finishes: submissions at LFA 199 and LFA 213, two first-round TKOs in Mexico, and a second-round submission of Taylor Mauldin in the co-main event of 559 Fights #127 on UFC Fight Pass (Sep 27, 2026).
She trains and fights out of Team Lobos in Las Vegas, and teaches what she knows — seminars, camps and private lessons, in English and Portuguese.
